As early as I can remember, I've had an incredible love for beautiful paper and stationery. As a child, I received many hand-made cards from my grandmother. The time and thought that she put into making those cards left a life-long impression on me. It gave me a deep appreciation for the art of paper and written words that come from the heart.

Growing up, my grandmother taught me about the different types of paper, color and the creative styles that went into making her cards. To this day, she continues to create hand-made cards that are enjoyed by many.

One of my dreams came true this year when I started Peaceable Hill Paperie. Sarah Strader of New View Communications helped make this dream come true. Sarah started New View in 1999 working out of her cottage in Wilton, Connecticut. Sarah has an incredible gift for reproducing her original watercolour designs on the highest quality linen stock. Encouraged by family and friends, Sarah took what was a hobby and built a company has produced millions of cards with loyal customers all over the world.

I'm excited that Peaceable Hill Paperie has acquired the New View Communications line. We are also pleased to have Sarah exclusively produce new stationery designs for us and perhaps even help create new lines as we continue to grow. With over 1,000 customers, our gift for producing beautiful holiday, children, birthday, cocktail, celebration, wedding and everyday cards has met with overwhelming success. I feel extremely proud when customers remark on how thoughtfully our cards are presented. Our hand-tied grosgrain ribbons add an uncommon touch that speaks softly of quality and beauty.

Together, the companies will be known as Peaceable Hill Paperie. We have made our home in Ridgefield, Connecticut, a quant historic town set with peaceful hills, stone walls and winding country roads.

As we continue to grow, Peaceable Hill Paperie remains committed to producing the highest quality stationery, and designs that are colorful, unique and memorable.
